I'm hoping to start a new series to encourage more frequent posting on here. With this I'll be listing and reviewing my favorite crochet patterns from the past month(s). Links will be provided to everything used if you want to follow, recreate or buy the same items!

Crochet Makes and Patterns:

This pattern was so fun to make, I absolutely love the bright colors I chose. In her pattern she provides instructions to even make a rainbow one of these! It may look rather complex with all the color changes but the pattern is well written and easy to follow.

While working on this pattern I even realized how to make my color changes at the end of a round super neat! I realized I should've changed the color at the end of the round, before the next one starts (before the slip stitch to close off the round). Now, my rounds with color changes look a lot cleaner. Just a tip for you all as well!

Mothman by @Crochetedbyrikki (Book Pattern, link to Barnes and Noble)

For those of you who don't know, I loveeeeee Mothman, hes my favorite cryptid by far, and I even have my own pattern for him! (Unreleased, but there's pictures on my instagram) This chibi-esque mothman is so cute, and fits right in with my other mothmen.

I can count on one hand how many times I've tried make amigurumi dolls, so it's not a lot. However, I thought this was too cute to resist making. I altered the pattern somewhat, as there's no wings, and I added antlers to the doll (from her Jackalope pattern) as well as special ears. I'm a little too nervous to add eyes as of yet, as I shes modeled after an original character of mine who's eyes are a little funky looking.

Ah, Cthulhu, what a classic little mythical monster. Out of all the projects these past few months, I would say I'm the least happy with him, and it all comes down to yarn choice. I am going to recreate this guy one day, but I would not use this yarn, and I would either choose a different color, or use safety eyes for the eyes. There's nothing wrong with the yarn I used, I just think it doesn't quite fit this guy.

Can you all tell by now I was really enjoying this book? I used the same yarn as Cthulhu to create this adorable, sparkly little kraken. I'm much happier with the use of this purple velvet yarn here. I hope to make an army of these guys one day, as they are so cute and easy to work up.

Unnamed/Unreleased Pattern by me

Over two years ago I started creating a mesh cardigan. I finally sewed the ends together and finished it recently (green one) and decided to create another one (blue/scrappy one). I still have the sleeves left to do but i might leave this one sleeveless honestly? Let me know what you all think, as well as if you'd like a pattern for this sooner rather than later (and ill do my best).

I have several other projects finished and in the works right now that I'll be posting in September for Augusts recap. I'm also hoping to have a post out next week with details about the Kirby crochet a long that I'll be doing come September. As always, I'm available for any questions about my patterns, yarn i use, etc. Have a lovely day y'all.
