Hi all! For today I'm uploading the graph for a current WIP. This graph is the front portion of whats (most likely) going to be a tank top, though I think it would also be a great wall-hanging. This piece is worked in half-double crochet and is 65 stitches wide and 29 stitches tall, and in the end it measures 10.5" tall and approximately 20.5" wide. Though if it needs to be wider simply make your starting chain longer by 2 (or any even number), which adds an extra stitch, in gray, on each end. Unfortunately this piece cannot be made less wide, as the current width is vital to the color work.
I wont be posting a picture of the WIP yet, as i desperately need to try to block this piece (I tried a different method of color work than normal and it gave the piece a lean). However, when worked as normal, going back and forth, that lean is eliminated.
You will need two different colors of yarn for this, one for the text color, and another for the background/main body color. Personally, for this piece, I choose yellow as the text color, and gray as the background color.
If you are unfamiliar with graph work/reading a graph, pick a corner to start with, I typically start on the bottom right (as i am right handed) and work from right to left. If need be, cross out rows or write down what row you are on, as you go to keep track of where you are. At the end of every row, chain 1 and turn your work. When you turn your work, remember you are now working from left to right on the graph.
Materials:
Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver (Or medium 4 weight yarn)
Hook size: H/8/5.00MM
Stitch: Half-double crochet

Graph made on stitch fiddle.
Enjoy everyone, and have a lovely Sunday.
